Not just another coat of paint
Exterior paint usually fails because of what is underneath it. Every Hamilton exterior starts with Arron looking at the existing coatings, the timber, the joints and the areas that take the most sun and rain.
A faded but sound paint system may only need a semi restoration. Flaking, cracking or bare timber usually calls for a full restoration back to a sound surface. The repairs, primers and topcoats agreed for your home are set out in your written quote.
Choosing between a semi and a full restoration
A semi restoration cleans, spot-prepares and recoats a paint system that is still holding well. A full restoration removes failing paint, repairs and primes the timber, then builds the system back up coat by coat.
